China experts spoke at the summit in Düsseldorf
Damme, Düsseldorf. “Europe – China 2.0“ was a topic of the high-level “KI Group Polymer Summit”, which, most recently, took place in Düsseldorf within the framework of the world’s largest trade fair for plastics and rubber “K2016”.
Among the keynote speakers at the summit with around 250 international participants was Dr. Torsten Bremer, CEO of BOGE Rubber & Plastics Group headquartered in Damme. The head of the automotive supplier reported on the experiences and opportunities of a traditional German company, which is now under the leadership of Chinese owners. As is well-known, the Chinese company Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (TMT) has been the new owner of BOGE Rubber & Plastics for more than two years. TMT is a subsidiary of the China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation Ltd. (CRRC). The Group employs around 180,000 people. Among the keynote speakers were also Stanley Chu (Adsale Group and organizer of Chinaplas), Harald Biederbick (CEO of RKW), Michelle Jou Covestro China and Dr. Karlheinz Bourdon from KrausMaffei.
The “K 2016“ is the world’s largest trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry. In total, 3.285 exhibitors took part in the event. 230.000 trade visitors from more than 160 countries came to the fair in Düsseldorf.
