Foundation of the company - Elastmetall Damme/Oldenburg GmbH. Development and production of shock absorbers and rubber-metal products and plastic components.
1971
Elastmetall Damme/Oldenburg GmbH merges with Lemförder Metallwaren AG.
1984
ZF Friedrichshafen AG becomes majority shareholder of Lemförder Metallwaren AG.
1991
Mannesmann AG becomes majority shareholder of Boge GmbH.
1993
Boge GmbH transfers its shock absorber activities to Fichtel & Sachs AG and concentrates on rubber-to-metal components and impact absorbers.
1997
Boge GmbH becomes Mannesmann Boge GmbH.
2002
Takeover of the activities, now operating as Boge Vibration Control GmbH, by ZF Friedrichshafen.
2003
ZF Boge GmbH and ZF Lemförder Elastmetall GmbH merge to form ZF Boge Elastmetall GmbH and establish the Rubber-Metal Business Unit of ZF Friedrichshafen AG.
2010
Integration of ZF Boge Elastmetall GmbH into ZF Lemförder GmbH. From now on, the former ZF Boge Elastmetall GmbH will operate under the name ZF Lemförder, Business Unit Boge Rubber & Plastics.
2011
Merger of ZF Lemförder GmbH with ZF Friedrichshafen AG.
2014
Strategic takeover of ZF's Rubber & Plastics business unit by the TMT company and merger of the worldwide automotive activities under the BOGE Rubber & Plastics umbrella brand.
